July 31: BREAKING NEWS – Retired Sheriff David Clarke’s endorsement

Staunch conservative, well respected and iconic law enforcement official, Sheriff David Clarke, who has seen it all, has come forward endorsing the most qualified candidate for Waukesha County District Attorney. Sheriff Clark agrees with Mike’s assessment of the crime increase and recognizes how superior Thurston is from society’s trend toward soft on crime prosecution. Clarke notes 124th street divides Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. But, increasingly, criminals see Waukesha County as a land of opportunity for their criminal enterprises. Sheriff Clarke sees Mike Thurston as Waukesha’s opportunity to make the county line a true barrier for criminals to fear. Sheriff David Clarke tells it like it is, and speaks the truth. We welcome his endorsement and shared vision of the opportunity this election presents to stem the tide of crime. Hey Waukesha County. The violent crime epidemic that has a death-like grip on the city of Milwaukee is headed straight for you. You aren’t far enough away to avoid it. As a 40 year career law enforcement officer in Milwaukee County, I know about how crime spreads. The violent career criminals in Milwaukee don’t know or care about County boundaries. You have already seen some heinous crimes occur in your County including murder, sexual assault, car jackings shoplifting and high-speed pursuits involving suspects fleeing back into Milwaukee County to avoid capture. Let’s be honest. Complacency is a byproduct of having a relative sense of safety from low crime. That day is over. It’s a false sense of security. Milwaukee criminals see a new naïve crop of people to victimize in Waukesha County. This upcoming primary election for District Attorney of Waukesha County presents an opportunity to make change in that Office. You need a ball busting, no nonsense prosecutor who will be aggressive in going after criminals generally but more so when predators from Milwaukee enter into Waukesha County to victimize your residents and businesses. That can be a deterrence and a message to would be crooks to stay out of Waukesha County. I have identified such a person. His name is Mike Thurston and he needs your vote on August 13th . He has my confidence, and he has earned yours. Don’t let this be a missed opportunity!
